Myles Ward is the Chief Executive Officer of healthAlliance NZ and has over 15 years' public and private sector ICT-related leadership experience. He has a background in operating large scale and complex ICT environments with a record of successfully delivering substantial technology-related change and transformations. Myles was the former Chief Technology Officer at Inland Revenue and was primarily focused on its strategic direction and the technology aspects of the company’s business transformation. Prior to this, he worked in the financial sector with Westpac Banking Corporation. He has a Business Degree from Massey and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration through Monash and Victoria University. Myles also has previous experience as the international co-chair of the ISO working group for the investigation and development of global standards for IT governance. |

Simon is our Chief Financial Officer. He has many years’ financial services leadership experience working predominantly in the primary sector. He was most recently CFO at Moana New Zealand, a leading seafood and fishing company owned by all of the 58 New Zealand Iwi. Simon has also held financial leadership roles in the US where he managed a finance and IT team that operated in the Pacific Northwest, Russia, Chile, Japan and Canada. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with an MBA and Master of Commerce (Honours) degrees. |

Denise joined healthAlliance NZ in September 2017. She leads the HR & Payroll teams. Denise originally started her career as a primary school teacher in South Auckland and has extensive HR experience. She has held a number of executive leadership roles across different industries including manufacturing, FMCG, construction, professional services, communications and media, banking and financial services. |

Wayne’s career spans over 22 years working in New Zealand, USA, India and Australia. He has worked in high profile national and international consulting and IT services organisations across a range of industries including government, local government, financial services, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, retail, mining and agribusiness. His roles have spanned the continuum from business owner to consultant and large programme governance. He has delivered and been part of the governance team for many transformational programmes and large projects. Wayne is also a member of IRD’s ICT Reference Group, assisting the IRD with their large multi-year tax transformation programme. Wayne’s role is to help the region build and transform its ICT capability and enable one plan; delivering the health priorities for the region and NZ. |

Kevin has a rich history in the health technology sector, having worked at healthAlliance for 10 years. He has held a variety of senior management positions in the IT team over this time, including infrastructure, strategy, projects and solutions delivery roles. He leads a large team of technology experts tasked with maintaining the Northern Region’s vast and highly complex IT systems, as well as implementing unique solutions that help our DHB customers deliver improved health outcomes to their populations. Prior to healthAlliance, Kevin worked at Wolters Kluwer Health. |

Karl is our Chief Clinical Information Officer. He has worked in various clinical, informatics, strategic and operational roles, as well as in the clinical practice at Papatoetoe Family Doctors for the last 8 years. Karl serves as a board member on several regional and commercial clinical advisory boards. He has extensive experience within ICT-enabled change, including his most recent role as Clinical Lead for ICT Integration at Counties Manukau Health. Karl served in the NZ Defence Force as a Medical Officer for 15 years, involving deployments to UN missions. He was Clinical Director for the NZDF implementation of a fully integrated single electronic health record (EHR). His role is to help drive clinical engagement with our DHB and PHO customers, as well as providing clinical leadership for healthAlliance NZ. |
