healthAlliance wins prestigious national IT award

healthAlliance has received one of the top honours at the 2018 New Zealand IT Excellence Awards in Wellington.

The Stabilisation Programme, led by GM Kevin Robinson, won the IT Project Excellence Award over some strong competition from all around the country.

"This award is great recognition for the important work we are doing for our DHB customers and their patients across the Northern Region," Kevin says.

The healthAlliance Stabilisation Programme involves a suite of IT projects, all focused on modernising and strengthening the region’s technology platforms. It is also laying down essential foundations for transformational initiatives and digital health innovations that will ultimately enable better health outcomes for the 1.8 million people in our region.

"The programme has involved many people and teams not just in IT at healthAlliance but right across the organisation and also at our customer sites, so this award reflects a truly regional team effort.” Kevin says.

“We are all enormously proud of this national recognition.”
