Cyber Security Boot Camp - Digitally-Connected Medical Devices

The healthcare industry has adopted more and more life-saving digital-enabled devices, including surgical implants that connect to electronic health records.

But alongside the increasing dependence on digital technology in health is the growing business of cyber crime.

Join us for a FREE two-day Cyber Security Boot Camp on 16-17 October at healthAlliance that brings together global experts in digital health mobility and cloud security, hacktivism, medical device security and governance.

Our speakers include US-based Beau Woods from ‘I Am The Cavalry’. The boot camp will be facilitated by Dana-Megan Rossi, the Director for Cyber Security Vulnerability and Threat Management at BD.

I Am The Cavalry was launched at DefCon 21 (the world’s largest hacker convention) and their goal is to get ethical hackers to work with health leaders and device manufacturers to better inform them about cyber security risks.

Places at this boot camp are strictly limited and priority is given to clinicians working in digital health, biomedical engineers, and those with a specific interest in cyber security where it relates to medical devices.
