The procurement team provides acquisition support for consumables, capital products, and services to both the Northern DHBs and healthAlliance NZ, enabling our customers to focus on what matters, their frontline healthcare services.

Our service scope ranges from setting procurement strategies, category management, sourcing, negotiating with suppliers and managing contracts, to finally reviewing the procurement results.

We are the single point of contact for the Northern Region, coordinating information and contracts with procurement service providers such as the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (external link) (MBIE), PHARMAC (external link) and NZ Health Partnerships (external link) . We coordinate all commercial activity across these agencies on behalf of our customers.
